110. Tint or Bleach Mixture too Frothy Impure Developer
PROBLEM: Sometimes when tint or bleach is mixed with developer, it immediately begins to froth and double and triple itself in quantity.
CAUSE: Impure developer.
SOLUTION: Discard the mixture and prepare a new mixture using another bottle of developer. Not all developers are chemically pure. When using Clairol products, best results can be obtained by using Clairoxide or Pure White Creme Developer which are laboratory tested to produce the best results.
